Four Haaretz journalists have been nominated for awards by the Next Century Foundation, a non-profit working for a solution to the Middle East conflict.

Akiva Eldar and Amira Hass are candidates for the Peace through Media Award, Bradley Burston has been nominated in the Cutting Edge Award category, and Benny Ziffer has been nominated in the blogging category for outstanding contribution to new media.

Several other Israeli, Western and Gazan journalists have been nominated.

The awards will be given out in London on May 8.
