Police said yesterday they are seeking the arrest of Israel's prime minister and the head of its spy agency over the murder of a top Hamas operative in Dubai. Dahi Khalfan, the emirate's police chief, said he had issued the demand for the arrest warrants as he was certain they ordered the hit on Mahmoud al-Mabhouh. "I have presented the prosecutor with a request for the arrest of [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and the head of Mossad [Meir Dagan]," he said. "I am now completely sure that it was Mossad." The Hamas arms dealer was found dead in his room at the luxurious Al Bustan Rotana hotel on Jan. 20. Investigators have identified 26 suspects in the operation they say bore Mossad's hallmarks.
