An Israeli Embassy vehicle was the target of a roadside bomb in Jordan on Thursday, but the explosion caused no injuries, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said. Several Israeli diplomats were heading in a convoy from Amman toward the border with Israel, Israel’s Army Radio reported. Jordan’s public information minister, Nabil Sharif, told Agence France-Presse that the bomb went off near the town of Naur, on the road between Amman and the Jordan Valley. He said an investigation was under way. The Israeli ambassador was not riding in the convoy at the time.
