A group of neo-Nazis disrupted a memorial event at a former concentration camp in Austria over the weekend with shouts of "Sieg Heil," Austrian media reported yesterday. Survivors of the Ebensee camp in the province of Upper Austria and other participants were shocked on Saturday when masked people brandished a fake machine gun and raised their arms in Nazi salutes. The police told the German Press Agency dpa they were investigating the matter. The police did not confirm reports that shots were fired and said accounts of the incident differed. (DPA)
