After weeks of separatist protests in Indian-administered Kashmir that virtually closed the region, Muslim leaders called Tuesday for three days of calm to let schools and businesses reopen. Crowds thronged markets to buy food and cooking gas in Srinagar. Muslim leaders said a strike and a large protest were planned for Friday.
