Palestinians fired six Qassam rockets at Israel Sunday morning, causing no injuries or damage, Army Radio.
Two of the rockets landed in the sea, two landed in open areas in the Habsor area of the western Negev and two others landed elsewhere.
IDF artillery fired shells at the launching sites in retaliation.
Qassams have been fired at an average rate of more than two a day since January.
On Friday a Qassam landed near the large electric power plant in the coastal city of Ashkelon, media reports said.
Also on Friday, a Qassam fired from the northern Gaza Strip landed in the Kibbutz Carmia cemetery, damaging a few headstones. A third Qassam landed near Kibbutz Yad Mordechai. One person was slightly injured and another went into shock. Islamic Jihad took responsibility for the Qassam attacks.
The IDF fired artillery at the northern part of the Strip and the Israel Air Force hit the launch zone and seven roads leading to the northern Gaza Strip on Friday afternoon and early Saturday.
